This is the very first Girl Scout Cookie recipe from 1922:
Blend until creamy:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup shortening
1 cup sugar
Add:
2 eggs
1 T milk
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp lemon extract
Sift together:
3 cups all purpose flour
2 tsp baking powder
1 tsp salt
Add dry ingredients to batter and chill overnight. Roll and cut. Bake at 375 degrees F, 8 to 10 minutes.
