Okay, so if this is the worst Ike gave us, we did just fine, but I mean,
really. After all the care we took to remove our
potentially deadly and damaging trees earlier this hurricane season, our neighbor's tree drops on us!?! You can still see it there, standing in the background, leaning AWAY from our property, as it has for at least 6 years, taunting me now.
Here's our brush pile from just the portions of the tree that were on our roof, after husband and brother-in-law chainsawed it off the garage. For not having any trees in our property, we sure do have a giant amount of debris at the curb...
